Because sport is based on values that can only lead to peace: mutual respect, tolerance, fraternity etc… and because sport helps to resolve all types of conflicts and barriers, whatever they are… I’m proud to represent the triumph of peace through sport. As a Champion for Peace, Marc Raquil is regularly involved in the celebration of April 6, the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace : he even participated several times to the Princesse Charlene Rallye.

World Champion in the men’s 4 x 400m relay with fellow Champion for Peace, Stéphane Diagana, Marc inspired an entire generation of athletes with his finish filled with determination.
