The Olympic Day Workout

The “Olympic day Workout” is a digital campaign organized to celebrate the Olympic Day on 23rd June. Olympians from 20 major time zones around the world were encouraged to host the 24-hour live workout challenge by holding an online workout and live interaction with their fans, inspiring them to get active and stay strong. The campaign generated 19 million impressions, 3 million video views and 120,000 interactions in a single day. This unique online event demonstrated once again the power of sport to unite and to bring people together from around the globe, despite the difficult circumstances.

ERC Cyprus rally 2019

Motor sport I Cyprus

The ERC Cyprus Rally includes a Super Special Stage that passes through the United Nations-controlled Buffer Zone that separates the Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot inhabited areas of Nicosia. The organizing committee of the Super Special Stage is composed of members of both communities who, thanks to sport, come together to work for a common goal. Volunteers from both communities are also involved, and this contributes to build social bonds that are maintained beyond the event. The cooperation spirit that is behind the ERC Cyprus Rally is so important that it transcends the boundaries of sport and becomes a confidence building measure between the communities.

Together against COVID-19

The OL Fondation provided a substantial support to the actors working on the ground in response to the health crisis. During this exceptional period, it mobilized its entire community to quickly deploy significant financial, material and human resources addressed to four types of actors: hospitals, associations working with disadvantaged people from the area, association supporting victims of domestic violence, and institutions welcoming disabled people. Thanks to its partners, the OL Fondation also managed to distribute food, masks and other personal protection devices to hospital personnel. The #ChampionsAuQuotidien digital campaign was also launched to thank all the actors involved in the fight against Covid-19.
