ABOUT US

Peace and Sport is an international, neutral, independent and operational organization that uses sport and its values as an instrument of peace. The Monaco-based organization was founded in 2007 under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco.

WHAT KIND OF DATA IS COLLECTED?

You may provide us with information, including personal information that identifies you when you subscribe to our newsletter, sign up for events such as the Peace and Sport International Forum or fill out an online job application.
We can collect the following personal data:
● Contact information such as your name, phone number, postal address and e-mail address
● Demographic information such as your job title, your job description, and the name and the type of company you work for.

DATA CONSERVATION

We will only keep your personal data for as long as is necessary for the purposes stated in this Information Notice, or in compliance with our legal requirements.

We will keep your information in our secure file. We need this information to provide you with services or to meet our legal obligations. If you wish to remove your personal data or to ask us to stop providing you with our services, please contact us via our dedicated email address: dataprotection@peace-sport.org. We will process your request within 30 days. If necessary, we will retain and use your information to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and honour our contracts.

Peace and Sport collects information about you in order to provide you with the best possible services, to fulfil our obligations and improve our services. We do not sell, rent or share information that makes you identifiable to third parties. We may use your information in the following cases:
● To enable us to register you for our events and facilitate communication between us.
● To send you information about our organization.
● To collect statistics in order to improve our relationship with you.

Whilst we take into account the sensitivity of the personal data we collect, process, and store, and the current state of technology used to implement these measures to protect your personal data, we can not 100% guarantee its security.

We store the information we collect in internal files within our agency, managed with protection including password, login, and a secure server.
When required by law (e.g. in the context of a subpoena, a warrant, a court decision or a judicial procedure) and when we think that such disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, avoid litigation, ensure your security and that of others, investigate fraud and/or answer an administrative demand. Peace and Sport reserves the right to make regular additions to our Privacy Policy. In the event of major changes, we will keep you informed by e-mail or via the homepage of our website before they become applicable.
