The World Rafting Federation (WRF) teams up with Peace and Sport, providing an opportunity for you and the Rafting community to combine sport practice with social engagement at the 2021 World rafting Championships!
On the occasion of the 2021 World rafting Championships, taking place from 28th June to 3rd July in l’Argentière la Bessée, France, you and athletes, officials and fans are encouraged to make a concrete action of solidarity and become change-makers!
By making a donation for Peace and Sport’s field programs, you and the Rafting community can directly contribute to support vulnerable communities, through sport.
This charity initiative is also a way to highlight that sport goes beyond performances, and focuses on positive values that are an essential part of Rafting: cooperation, respect and inclusion.
Such values are also at the heart of Peace and Sport’s field programs. Your donation and all funds collected will support the daily peace-through-sport activities benefiting disadvantaged children around the world.

Peace and Sport is an international, neutral and independent organization based in Monaco which promotes peace using the power of sport. It takes concrete action to prove the federating, educational and social impact of sport.
Peace and Sport and the World Rafting Federation signed a Memorandum of Understanding in March 2021 with the aim to raise awareness on Sport for Development and Peace among the rafting community, and use rafting as a tool for social inclusion and overcoming differences.
