From the high plateaus of Kenya to the banks of the Thames, sport is a source of inspiration and motivation for young people. I hope that this #WhiteCard will encourage more people to develop sports projects for peace around the world.

Chris Froome was born and brought up in a suburb of Nairobi in Kenya, where he was introduced to cycling. After joining a cycling academy in South Africa, he achieved his first major performance in the Tour of Spain. As triple winner of the Tour de France, he wants to set up an academy in Africa at the end of his career to promote cycling on this continent.
