Peace and Sport will organize its International Forum on November 30 and December 1 in Monaco

The resurgence of conflicts at the international level has deeply questioned the unity of the sports world but also, and above all, the role of sport in the prevention of violence, the mitigation of conflicts, and peace-building processes.

In this context, Peace and Sport will host the 13th edition of its International Forum “Sport, an answer for peace” from November 30 to December 1 in a hybrid format. The main objectives of the event will be the sharing of knowledge, the promotion of best practices, the diversification of partnerships and the identification of concrete solutions.

Through round tables and inspiring masterclasses, eminent panelists will place sport at the heart of the debates. They will examine how sport actors and sport, as a tool for the transmission of values, can contribute to shaping more inclusive and peaceful societies.

The President and Founder of Peace and Sport, Joël Bouzou, said:

“The Peace and Sport International Forum is a unique platform to exchange and highlight best practices. This new edition of the Forum, which marks 15 years since the creation of Peace and Sport, will generate responses and stimulate new collaborations to intensify the use of sport as a lever for peace. With an innovative hybrid format, we want to attract partners who wish to bring positive change to society through sport. »

On November 30, Peace and Sport will host panels on various themes. In the evening, a gala of the Peace and Sport Awards will reward organizations and individuals for their exceptional contribution to peace, dialogue and social change through sport in the world. On December 1, the Forum will provide a dynamic platform dedicated to sharing experiences and seeking synergies for a large number of partners and participants.
