From 5-6 May, Joël Bouzou, President and Founder of Peace and Sport, participate in the 4th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue (WFID) in Baku, Azerbaijan. This 4th WFID is organized under the auspices of H.E. Mr. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and in cooperation with UNESCO, UN Alliance of Civilizations, UN World Tourism Organization, Council of Europe, ISESCO and North-South Center of the Council of Europe.
Mr. Bouzou was invited by Unesco to speak during the panel entitled “Sports for intercultural dialogue and peace”.
He also delivers a speech during the High Level Meeting of International Organizations on the theme “Building synergies for intercultural dialogue between economic and financial institutions and development agencies towards Agenda 2013: Challenges and opportunities”.
He meets several eminent figures such as the Azeri Youth and Sport Minister, Mr. Azad Rahimov and Mrs. Irina Bokova, Director-General of UNESCO, of which Peace and Sport is a partner.
