Peace and Sport celebrates the 10th Anniversary of the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Sport in Cyprus

Peace and Sport was in Cyprus this week to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Sport (EPAS) which gathers 38 State Members. Since 2007, the EPAS aims to promote sport by emphasizing its positive values and to develop a pan-European framework for intergovernmental sports co-operation.

Aya Medany, Peace and Sport Champion for Peace, was invited to participate at this exceptional Anniversary Conference that took place in Limassol on 11 May 2017 during the session “Working together to build and consolidate democracy, tolerance and inclusion”. Aya made an inspirational speech on the theme “my story: How did sport impact my life.”

Peace and Sport also attended the annual two-day meetings of the EPAS, together with representative of State members, Governing Board and the Consultative Committee, of which Peace and Sport is a member.
