“The terrible terrorist attacks which have again struck Turkey are a symbol of the feeling of unease that is currently gripping our societies. We at Peace and Sport will not let the message of peace that we have tried to transmit over past years be crushed by these terrorist acts, which we strongly condemn. Sports venues should be places of joy, enthusiasm and friendship, therefore the incident that happened last weekend outside the Besiktas Stadium in Istanbul will never overshadow the values of peace and togetherness that the world of sport habitually perpetrates” said President and Founder of Peace and Sport, Joel Bouzou.
