May 30, 2025 | News

Vice-President of the international organization Peace and Sport, Didier Drogba continues his commitment to solidarity, peace and sustainable development. His action is now highlighted in a new episode of the Les Voyageurs Solidaires series, filmed at the heart of his foundation’s initiatives in Côte d’Ivoire.

Accompanied by journalist Stéphane Basset, Didier Drogba exceptionally opens the doors of the Didier Drogba Foundation, revealing behind-the-scenes details of his local projects and the birth of an ambitious environmental pole. This journey of solidarity takes the film crew from Grand-Lahou to the depths of the Taï forest, to follow the foundation’s first awareness-raising and environmental protection initiatives.

This episode marks a turning point: after health and education, the foundation is extending its scope of action to the environment with the same determination. Alongside Gabrielle Lemaire, the foundation’s vice-president, Didier Drogba implements a vision rooted in local realities and focused on sustainable solutions.

This commitment is fully in line with Peace and Sport’s mission. The organization promotes the use of sport as a tool for dialogue, social cohesion and the positive transformation of societies. Through his foundation, Drogba gives a concrete dimension to these values, embodying them in the field, in the communities that need them most.

This report offers a unique insight into an authentic approach, where personal commitment, collective action and local impact come together. Didier Drogba affirms his desire to actively contribute to a fairer, more equitable world that respects the planet.
