Being a Champion for Peace, it means being involved with a movement align with my mission in my life : unit societies in the values of sports and Olympism. I want to be involved in the peace through sport movement being an example of fair play, positive attitude and empathy. I also want to convey my values: Honesty, Fair Play, Dedication,Confidence, Passion, Respect, Team Work.
Born in Venezuela into a family of athletes, her brothers introduced her to BMX and infused her with their love of the sport.
In 2014, she joined the International Cycling Federation (UCI) centre of excellence to improve her technique and optimize her performance. After becoming World Champion and Olympic medallist in the following two years she now wants to share this success with all Venezuelans.
Stefany is an athlete who embodies the values of sport and believes that BMX is first and foremost a self-development and mental challenge. Very involved in the LGBT cause, she uses her reputation to defend the equality for all.
Conscious of what sport has brought her, she has become a Champion for Peace in order to help young Venezuelans blossom, transmit the values of the sport and establish peace.
