Peace and Sport is an action-oriented organisation, dedicated to the development and implementation of grassroots programmes Locally-Based Projects
To achieve this goal and maintain our operational capability, we have opted to work in close cooperation with various players:
- First and foremost, working from our Monaco headquarters, our organisation is in regular contact with governments.
- We also cooperate with International Sport Federations on a daily basis, whose experts are essential to guarantee the efficient implementation of Locally-Based Projects. Peace and Sport has notably initiated relationships with the International Athletics Federation (IAAF), the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), the International Hockey Federation (IHF), the International Associated Fights Federation (FILA), and the International Rugby Board (IRB). Further contacts with sport federations are under way.
- We essentially rely on an international “Family of Partners” of private companies and public and governmental organizations to carry out missions.
The Family of Partners provide logistical, political, financial and human resources, which all contribute to the successful completion of projects (the organization’s most characteristic feature) and provide us with a solid, structured and powerful action platform.
Members of our Family of Partners:
- Share their respective skills and experience with “Peace and Sport”
- Constitute the organization’s main financial resource thanks to their contributions
- Work closely and permanently with the organization
- Directly participate in the strategic thinking, design and implementation of Locally-Based Projects
Contributions from our “Family of Partners” are the manifestation of our relationship with the international business community. Without this help, not one Local Based Project could be successfully completed.
Thanks to them “Peace and Sport” is in a position to:
- Promote its image, ideals and unique nature across the word
- Achieve its objectives, mainly thanks to the International Annual Forum
- Design one-off and long-term programs in cooperation with the Strategic Committee
- Develop activities and use the impact of Local Based Projects for maximum benefit.

IRIS : Institut de Relations Internationales et Stratégiques
Directed by Pascal Boniface, IRIS is a French centre that conducts research into strategic questions and international relations.
It was founded in 1991 to achieve several objectives: to contribute to the research into and the debate on strategic questions, an area that is particularly underdeveloped in France; to create a completely independent centre of expertise, getting to grips with current events; to create a place for dialogue and debates between all who make up the strategic community, specialists from different professional and philosophical horizons: Political heads, high-ranking civil servants, industrialists, the military, experts and academics.
This diversity of experience is a voluntary choice as well as being absolutely necessary for the best possible understanding of the international situation. The objective is to put expertise at the service of education and help public opinion to become interested in international affairs, so that they can be better understood.
IRIS’ activities are split in four directions: research and expertise, organising conferences and seminars, publications, and training.
