Because rebuilding the future of these youngsters necessitates the solidarity and the mobilization of everyone, Peace and Sport is launching an appeal for solidarity to all members of the families of peace and of sport, for donations to enable the HOC to help these young people and to give them guidance through sport. The priorities are:

Sports equipment, new or used
Balls, nets, jerseys, hurdles, marking equipment etc. Whatever the state of your equipment, and whatever the amount you can offer, these kinds of donations are most urgent.

Teach and play materials
Board games, card games etc.  community recreation activities are needed to pacify children and encourage their social integration. These donations are essential.

Financial donations
The HOC has opened a bank account especially for programs of to assist survivors. Peace and Sport will monitor financial donations and ensure that they are distributed appropriately, according to specific, identified needs.

Multi-sport coaches and educators to train future instructors in Haiti.
200 team leaders are already hard at work in Haiti to implement sports and socio-educational activities. They need to receive training in teaching and coaching many different sports disciplines.
