Peace and Sport International Forum will be held at the Fairmont Monte-Carlo Hotel in Monaco.
The Opening Ceremony will be held in a symbolic setting in the heart of the Principality of Monaco: the Oceanographic Museum.

As of November 25, Peace and Sport hostesses will greet you in the arrivals area of Nice International Airport.

They will guide you to a free shuttle service. The shuttle bus will depart every 30 minutes. It will take you to the Fairmont Monte-Carlo Hotel where the Forum takes place and where you are staying.

When you register for the Forum, we recommend that you let us know your arrival details so we can best organise your transportation to Monaco.

The Fairmont Monte-Carlo Hotel is the unique location where the Forum will take place and where you will be staying.

However, you can choose to stay in another location and make your own reservation. Here is a list of near-by hotels:

"What costs are associated with attending the Forum?"

The Package Forum + Catering (500 €) gives you free access to all sessions (plenary and workshops) and access to meals included on the program (cocktail reception and welcome dinner, cocktail reception and Gala Dinner and working lunches).

We offer accommodation at preferential rates at the 4*Deluxe Fairmont Monte-Carlo, where the conferences will be held (200 € per night for a standard single or double, breakfast included).

Transport costs are the responsibility of each delegate: a free shuttle service will operate between Nice Airport and your hotel in Monaco.

"Can I receive help with costs from your organization?"

When you register online, you can apply for support in the "Special Requests" section. This request will be submitted to the Management Team and you will be sent a rapid response.

"On the registration form, who qualifies as “NGO, Registered Charity or Academic"?

We are referring to field-based NGOs, registered charities, academics, associations and youth clubs working at a grassroots level through local action. We encourage these stakeholders to come so they can share their first-hand experience of the reality in the field with other Forum delegates. However, proof of status must be provided.

"Can Peace and Sport help with my VISA application?"

We write an official invitation to the Forum in your name that we send the French Embassy in your country. This approach is generally sufficient to allow you to get your VISA.

"Can I pay the registration fee in cash on the spot?"  

When you register online, you can send a request to pay cash when you arrive in Monaco in the "Special Requests" section. This request will be submitted to the Management Team and you will be sent a rapid response. For your information, payment on the spot can cause a long wait when you arrive at the hotel.

"How are shuttle buses between the airport and the hotel organized?"

On arrival at Nice Airport, a hostess at the Peace and Sport reception desk (located between customs and baggage reclaim) will inform you of the place and time of the next shuttle departure. The journey to the Fairmont Hotel takes about 45 minutes.

"What is the deadline to register for the Forum?"

We recommend you register for the Forum before 31st October in order to benefit from preferential rates for accommodation at the Fairmont Hotel where the conference will take place. Beyond that date, we will not be able to guarantee availability of rooms at this hotel.
If you choose to organize your own accommodation, you can register up until 15th November.

"What is the dress code for the Gala Dinner?"

Business attire (jacket and tie) is entirely appropriate for this reception. Evening gowns and tuxedos are not required.

"Can I distribute documentation during the event to publicize my business to other delegates?"

There will be a documentation area in the room provided for coffee-breaks, for all those wishing to distribute brochures.

"Can I bring my partner/spouse to the Forum?"

We have taken measures to accommodate delegates’ spouses and partners at the Forum. A reduced-rate Forum Catering Package (400 €) is offered. The cost of a double room is no more expensive than a single room. The hotel will be happy to give you information about the best tourist activities in the Principality.
