• Why you should support me?

My work has taken me to countries like Angola, Algeria and Iraq and as such had many opportunities to talk with people who have lived the horror of war and poverty. Only 2 days before I decided to run for Peace and Sport, I was sitting at the back of a car in the south of Iraq with a female co-worker who was describing the horror of war and how happy she was that it was finally over! So when I read on Peace & Sport web page the following:’’ An international initiative at the service of peace, Peace and Sport intervenes in areas made vulnerable by extreme poverty, recent conflict or lack of social cohesion.’’ no need to say that my choice was obvious!

First marathon and first race...only ran against myself with my GPS watch so far: ½ marathon in 1h45.

Sport, Art, people (there will be a few running with me, so all good), Life in general and New York (hence the choice for my 1st marathon)!
