Our Champion for Peace

WILSON KIPKETER

I think that our actions with Peace and Sport make an impact on whole lives. Sport is a powerful tool that influences individual and communities because its intrinsic values teach respect, the taste for competition and group activities. Sport is a great educational tool.

Born on the high plains of Kenya, for many Wilson Kipketer is the best athlete in the history of the double track. His world record remained undefeated for 13 years before being beaten by David Rudisha.  Now retired, he’s involved in business development in his home community.
