Peace and Sport works in close cooperation with a Family of Partners, assembling a large number of stakeholders from the world of peace and world of sport.

The operational, political, human and financial support received from partners constitutes a strong and powerful platform for structured action under the global "Peace and Sport" umbrella:

• World-class athletes who are members of a club called "Champions for Peace”.
• Corporations which have discovered that peace through sport programs provide innovative expression for their Corporate Social Responsibility policies.
• International Sports Federations with experts who are legitimate key players for effective field interventions.
• International Organizations for peace, integrating sport into their action, particularly to achieve Millennium Development Goals and to promote sport as a vector for peace and dialogue.
• National Olympic Committees to identify local needs for sport and they help to implement programs of peace through sport in a way that is adapted to the local environment.
• NGOs and local associations that operate at a grassroots level.
• Ambassadors for Peace and Sport, well-known figures who are recognized for the quality of their commitment to peace and sport in the world.
• Universities and research institutes training future "engineers for peace through sport" and evaluating programs in process.

The Family of the Partners is closely associated with Peace and Sport’s operations, as much in its reflexion on the design and implementation of Locally-based Projects as in its efforts to raise awareness amongst international decision makers.
