• Nominees:

Three nominees for each Peace and Sport Award category will be selected and the nominee applications will then be submitted to members of the Peace and Sport Awards Jury, the Peace and Sport Online Platform or members of the Peace and Sport Champions for Peace Club.

The Peace and Sport Awards 2011 will thus bring to light the work of 21 nominees, from which seven winners will be chosen.

The nominee projects will be presented to all delegates throughout the Peace and Sport International Forum through videos and displays in the networking areas as well as information bulletins distributed to participants. The complete list of nominees will also be published on the Peace and Sport’s website.

• The Jury:

The Peace and Sport Awards Jury’s primary role is to assess and give points to competing projects in order to define a winner in five of the seven categories.

Two of the Peace and Sport Awards, the Image of the Year and the Champion for Peace of the Year, will have an alternative voting process:

• The Image of the Year, announced during the “Podiums d’Or” Gala Evening at Sportel Monaco, is decided by votes from the online public. All members of Peace and Sport's networking platform will have the opportunity to vote directly on the website to elect a winner from selected photographs.
• The Champion for Peace of the Year will be selected by members of the Peace and Sport Champions for Peace Club.

Each nominated project will be evaluated according to a set of criteria. The winning project in each category will be the one which receives the highest marks and the most positive reviews.
